In addition, some professional associations may require that a practitioner continues their education throughout their professional lives. These courses are offered to qualified practitioners for the purposes of continuing education and may be eligible for CPE (Continuing Practitioner Education) credits from the relevant professional associations. This course covers principles of preoperative and postoperative care, general wound management including pathophysiology of wounds, and the nutritional management of skin, hair and nails. UNIVERSITY DEGREE OPTIONS On completion of this course graduates may apply to the University of New England for entrance into the Bachelor of Health Science (Aesthetics Therapy) degree using this qualification to gain advanced standing.
